Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Did anyone else find it odd that they listed Dempsey on Gray's and Boreanaz on Bones, instead of the actors who pay the titular characters?

I just figured they listed who got paid most. Boreanaz and Dempsey are higher profile (for good or ill) than their female costars.

amyth, healthma in your family's direction.

Man, I wish people who told you you'd be covered by insurance could be held liable for their BEING FUCKING WRONG AND COSTING YOU MONEY. That would be nice. And yet another thing I have to chase down.

Always Anti-fascist!

Is Ryan Seacrest a creator? Because that can really up what you get paid...because you get back end, and I don't mean porn. Although people do nasty shit to get it, for real. My not-so-secret boyfriend negotiated a big bump by calling himself "Managing Editor" of "Countdown". Orally will be happy that the world knows in this? His is bigger, at last. ETA: If you're a creator, you get a piece of the overall take. And I think I've *officially* spent too much time on TVNewser and all those damn screenwriting sites. I probably mumble about the "target demo" in my sleep sometimes.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good thoughts for your bro, amyth.

Because books.

All kinds of health~ma heading your brother's way, amyth.

Yeah, there's something just... weird about contemplating the fact that the "low-paid" people on that list mostly make more in a week than I do in a year.

I was, of course, wondering what the Supernatural guys make, and then I did the same thing. Even if they're down there in the five-digit range, that's times 22 episodes. That's a lot of money.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Sending strength and good thoughts to your brother, amyth.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Oh, amyth! All good thoughts to your brother. That's really scary. Keep us posted?

Buffistas, I need some of your famous ~ma to cheer me up. We just determined that its not possible financially for me to go home to visit this year. I have been surviving every day of homesickness by looking forward to a trip home in the fall. And now I have nothing to look forward to. I am a bit of a mess. I have a wonderful baby and a (usually) wonderful husband, but I have nothing else here and I am finding it very difficult to be happy.

Callaluna, just wanted to say I'm so sorry you're struggling to be happy right now. It can be really, really rough to move somewhere new, especially as big a move as this was for you, and it is a huge bummer that you can't go home like you'd planned. Are there things you can do for yourself that might cheer you up? Multivitamins, walks in the sunshine, reading a good book, meeting other local new moms?
