Does it help to know I hit a bicyclist 5 weeks after my dad was hit on his bicycle, 2 weeks into my license? Responding cop was Officer Love. Yeah, that set off more waterworks.
Took my parents HOURS to talk me back into the car for a spin around the block.
They'll worry, that's their job. And it'll be weird and annoying.
Weird question, but I am pretty sure my cousin's dad was a convicted sex offender in NYS in 1982-- I can't find him in the database. Is it possible that he would drop out?
Did anyone see Erin anywhere online today? She never responded to my texts this morning.
Where's all the Kombucha, sister? My yoga teacher had a half consumed bottle that she carried into Whole Foods and someone offered her $10 for THAT bottle. Insane-o.
Also, Grace's g-tube balloon sprung a leak (they are supposed to last 3 months. We're at 7 weeks... grrr) just as the nurse was trying to go home. He noticed it and fixed it and said something about being glad that he was here because it may have taken a while for us to notice.
Harumph. I don't think he meant it that way, but sigh.
I don't remember seeing Erin today, msbelle, but I wasn't in Bitches.
Also, for those of you who shop for vintage, Vintage Martini is having one of their Graveyard sales: [link] I haven't looked to see what's there, but... worth a gander.
Erin retweeted something about 10 hours ago on Twitter. I think that would be noon-ish, her time.
Thanks Sue. I was about to be all crazy person in the box and call.
Kat, I don't know how you could anticipate everything. With three kids, 1 of whom was totally "healthy" and two of whom were basically easy, health-wise (forgetting their RSV and the resulting problems), it's always a crap-shoot. Your nurse is someone who has trained with children who have Grace's challenges. Of course he's going to spot/know about shit you might not see, immediately. You're "just" a mom, but you've been doing a hero's job since your babies were born, and you're doing it so well. Thanks the universe for the help and try to let it go -- that's my advice, worth the paper upon which it's written (none).
