Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Holy crap, Cash. Yuck.

Also, I hate that making dinner satisfies my hunger. Now I have all this food, and do not want to eat.

Yeah, I almost never cook and eat on the same day.

brillig

I'm feeling very nostalgic, it's County Fair time back in Greene County, Pennsylvania. 4-H competitions, the Grange ladies committing character assassination over the baking competitions, wandering the livestock barns and marveling at how big and gentle the Orndorff's huge Belgian horses were up close . . .

Aerial picture of the fairgrounds. It seemed a lot bigger when I was kid.

And the double-decker Ferris wheel was always terrific.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Thanks, Tom. What a great thing to be able to whip something of that quality up so quickly.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Ugh, Cash.

Also, I hate that making dinner satisfies my hunger. Now I have all this food, and do not want to eat.

This happens to me all the time.

There were all these leftovers from the funeral reception we were being urged to take. As usual, I didn't leap to it because I thought I'd be good about my diet. But today my hands hurt and I don't want to cook and a bunch of prepared food would sure have gone down well, damn the glycemic content.

Now tagless for your comfort.

It's not the same feelings as seeing the CSI truck pull up and start digging in the neighbor's back yard but still. This kid BEGS to have Owen over to his house to play.

Who called the whiteboard quitter as fake?

Buffistas is smart.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, Cash. I'm so sorry you have to deal with that.
