Some of the teens I encounter look cute in the skinny jeans. It isn't an option for me.
The flight attendant that flipped out and cursed out the passengers will likely become a hero. Way to say take this job and shove it. [link] They do put up with a lot of abuse, then again so do the passengers. The whole system is broken.
Sheep Have Taken Over Hobbit Holes on The Lord of The Rings Set
A flock of sheep have taken over the Hobbit holes on a Matamata, New Zealand farm that were created by Peter Jackson’s crew while filming “The Lord of The Rings” trilogy.
Skinny jeans= ugly on everyone.
I actually think some people can pull them off. However, I will never condone jeggings.
Johnny Weir is adorable in jeggings. He is probably the only one in the world, however.
Horrorwood Visitors Attack 'Ghosts' After Being Scared
Visitors at a Taiwanese haunted house theme park have attacked the actors dressed as ghosts repeatedly, the company told the Agence French Presse on Tuesday.
Staff at Horrorwood, a theme park dedicated to scenes from horror movies, have had to be granted leave by the company after repeated run-ins with tourists.
A man dressed as a zombie was slapped by a man whose girlfriend was scared. The attacker later told the company that "he wanted to find out whether the 'ghost' was real or not."
A female tourist hit a male actor in the groin with an umbrella.
So, JetBlue flight attendant flip-out guy - folk hero or not?
While I adore the idea of having an inflatable ejection chute for difficult work situations, I can't say I admire the guy myself. Yes, sometimes we just get fed up and can't deal, and we all WANT to cuss out the plane, grab a beer and leave, but being a grownup means you power through and bitch to the Buffistas afterward, right?
The guy gets style points, but he pretty much screwed himself. Even if he gets a reasonable plea deal, his former employer will be suing him for putting their plane out of service.
I think flipping the emergency slide is where he'll get crushed. Both from the plane out of commission thing but also the potential to cause a panic - not everyone may have understood what was going on, and people have died even in their on-the-ground tests of plane evacuation. If a few people got freaked and started running for the slide, things could have got ugly in a hurry.
Does anyone who types quite a lot during the business day have long fingernails, and if so, do they get in the way? I was growing out my nails and finally had to cut them off because they were interfering. I see pictures of secretaries with long talons, and I imagine they're typing with the nail tips, which hurts when I try it all day.
JetBlue flight attendant flip-out guy - folk hero or not?
Based on what I've heard, probably not, though my exact reaction depends on what really happened.
I've read at least one report that says the tipping point was when the unruly passenger hit the flight attendant with a carry-on bag -- possibly accidentally, possibly not accidentally. If it wasn't accidental, flight attendant's actions bother me less.
Still bothers me, though. Because flight attendant chose to go off on the entire planeload of people. Most of whom, I've no doubt, were blameless in the sense that they were at least civil to flight attendant during the flight, and made no demands on him beyond those comfortably within his job duties.
Now, if he'd just gone off on unruly passenger, and maybe any passengers who'd acted like jackasses during the flight, I might be more sympathetic.
