Boo for perkins' work! But yay for new friends. Pie is not (sadly) relevant to my interests. Though Sean Bean always is. Even though I suspect he doesn't play well with girls. And probably runs with scissors, too.
I remain somewhat awed, as well as a little envious, of Calli's flying.
Apple has a deal for college students and faculty: [link]
Damn, I was afraid it was that Apple deal. Curse my non-student and non-faculty status!
Perkins, sorry work is stupid.
I love how wee buffistas seem to exude the cool right outta the womb.
Yay for 100% Bob!
I skated for four hours, practiced proximity skating, took some knee slides and skated fast! My thighs are screaming. I bought some ibuprofen in bulk.
ION, beef tongue. Not bad at all. It's the only organ meat we got when we processed Rupert. I'd never tried it before but a few hours in the crock pot with potatoes, onions and carrots and it's a lot like fork-tender roast.
I just ordered pad thai and ginger chicken for delivery (that'll take care of the rest of my food for the weekend). Yummm, Thai food!!
pie carrier
I've used hat boxes and round gift boxes packed generously around the bottom with towels as pie carriers.
I am really pretty excited about the new friends for mac and both mothers I've met thus far seeming to be level headed like minded people. am tentatively happy.
I am not at all tentative about my love for the hutch. I will take pictures later. I took pictures of all the rooms the other day - we are just over 3 weeks here - so things are done yet, but they are starting to take shape.
That is so great to hear, msbelle.
Who was Rupert?
Rupert was the name of our steer. He is tender and delicious. We know the people who raised him so they told us his name.
That is so awesome. We should all know the names of our food.
I loved it when we bought a cow. But it was a Navajo cow, so it didn't have a name. It ate my trees, though, open grazing, so I figured it was fair to eat it.
