I will take the pie — though I do not know the way.

Thanks! I'm loving the flying. It's one of the few things that would get me outside for hours in the middle of an NC August afternoon.
So, we drove to South Carolina today buy mr. flea a new laptop, and we got a free iTouch with it. (Well, we had to pay for it, but we'll get a rebate.) I may never see my husband again.
We also got some plum-colored skinny cords for Casper, and with her new stacked bob, summer-camp tan, white Petit Bateau classic undershirt, new pants, and skull Vans-style sneakers, she is so amazingly cool-looking. And she's six! I was never that cool in my whole life!

What magical store was this? (I ask, being about to buy a MacBook Pro, and totally willing to accept a free iTouch.)

What Scola said, and we went to SC because it's tax-free weekend there. Our cheapskate-fu is mighty.
Boo for perkins' work! But yay for new friends. Pie is not (sadly) relevant to my interests. Though Sean Bean always is. Even though I suspect he doesn't play well with girls. And probably runs with scissors, too.
I remain somewhat awed, as well as a little envious, of Calli's flying.

Damn, I was afraid it was that Apple deal. Curse my non-student and non-faculty status!
Perkins, sorry work is stupid.
I love how wee buffistas seem to exude the cool right outta the womb.
Yay for 100% Bob!
I skated for four hours, practiced proximity skating, took some knee slides and skated fast! My thighs are screaming. I bought some ibuprofen in bulk.
ION, beef tongue. Not bad at all. It's the only organ meat we got when we processed Rupert. I'd never tried it before but a few hours in the crock pot with potatoes, onions and carrots and it's a lot like fork-tender roast.
