Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Wow, I have literally no meetings next week. And both of the coworkers I talk to the most, as well as my boss, are out of the office. Theoretically, I will Get Stuff Done. Realistically, I will be bored out of my skull.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Well, especially given the composition of that shot...

Surely, they have to have noticed...

Seriously, every corporation needs a "That's what she said" intern. Just some college student to run things by, and see if they giggle uncontrollably.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I emailed HR this morning asking if I was to remain an employee into next week since no one had asked me to turn in an updated letter of resignation yet. I have never received one official thing from HR about transitioning to a consultant. My boss had emailed me two weeks ago that today may be my last day as an employee or maybe the 13th. Today, no word from anyone. I feel like I have given them over half the day. I am over my required hours for the week, so I am going to log off and be done. right?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Oh dear.

But that did make me laugh....

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

The Internets have already taken that and ran with it: [link]

Seriously!!

Yeah, I had to do that at my old job once -- thank goodness I was in the meeting where they were brainstorming names, because I was the only native English speaker of my generation in the room (and we were talking about a product for younger people). So I put the kibosh on anything about "my box" for a project for girls...

Always Anti-fascist!

My editing teacher(taught headlines and such) said you could almost never overestimate how dirty people's minds are. His favorite example involved some women's basketball Beavers.
