Spent the morning w/o internet. Hopefully the technical stuff around here will be worked out. I will go without plenty of things before I'll go without good broadband.
Got The Guild's video "Game On" going through my head all day. Wish I had that many friends who wanted to make a musical dance video with me...
Trying to summon up the energy and knee-ma to cycle to the Farmers Market, library and TJ's today.
Any Pasadenaffistas have suggestions for fabric stores that carry silks and rayons? The Jo-Ann's near me sucks rocks. I'm not yet up to trying to hazard the Garment District, though.
And they said it couldn't be done!
It's just bloody difficult!
I might just drag my headachey ass out of the house and see it again this weekend, dammit. Nolan, you bastard.
Seriously. I just want to keep seeing it again and again, simply because I enjoy the world and the characters and the look and the music.
OK, I think I've finally hit the wall on this final project for my class. I've still got an hour until class, but I could only find five reference (as in, non-circulating at a library, any library) titles relating to human evolution, even though I'm supposed to have 8-10. I added a couple more to the circulating books list and will point that out to the teacher.
I can't think anymore. As soon as we're done tonight, I am so going home and sleeping, which I haven't done since yesterday morning.
Well, maybe I'll watch tonight's SYTYCD first.
The website does look very pretty, once I figured out (with the help of a classmate who is also working on her project) how to add stuff on the template. We're using Google Sites, which is pretty intuitive once you get the hang of it.
I enjoy the world and the characters and the look and the music.
I want an Arthur of my very own, and an Eames to play with from time to time. Is that so much to ask?
Chris Nolan directed the last movie I saw twice in the theatres, I think. I'm officially a fangirl.
J hasn't seen it yet, so tomorrow will be my second time but his first. I think it's one of those films which kinda demands a second viewing.

Have you seen them all? I'm totally a fanboy. Not a dud in the mix.
We still haven't seen Inception. Of course, only saw the latest Harry Potter last week. I'm pathetic when it comes to movie viewing these days.
Kat, I am also happy to offer any help I can give to K while you're gone.
Zeppelins and Pixie cuts! Thanks Tom and tommyrot!
I concur with Amy's assessment - very much in the style of Mia Farrow's pixie cut. (As distinct from Morena Baccarin or Jean Seberg's pixie cuts.)
If any y'all want to see my class project, a pathfinder on Hominids, here it is!
Also, you can't really compare 2008 to now. This is the first time corporations can donate out of their corporate funds-from another article.
Which is why I made the caveat. But I bring the historical data to show that they did have a choice in who to support within the parameters that were there previously and as a corporation they have historically chosen to support both parties.
That being said, while I don't like that they spent $150K on a group that supports a total douchebag, looking at their overall picture and knowing that Target spends millions of dollars in direct support of their gay employees and those employees' spouses and/or domestic partenerships in direct benefits. I, personally, am choosing to see THAT as Target's position on gay equality. Not everyone gets everything right all the time. Not individuals and not giant corporations.
