Art Crawl!!!

I didn't remember that Zac Efron was in Summerland. So, that show produced or possibly showcased two teen idols? Interesting. (I don't think I watched the complete run of that show either.)

Also, Zac Efron was on an episode of NCIS. Not that I remembered that without IMDB!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

In the news: 40 U.S. Billionaires pledging to give half their wealth to charity.

IONews, I'm thinking of changing my name to Charity.

Snerk. You know, on the one hand I think that's great. On the other hand, I can't help but suspect that many of them got rich by underpaying a lot of people, or laying them off. I'm such a socialist. But goodness knows nonprofits can use the funds.

I had the same socialist thought, smonster.

I have also decided to try and be amused, instead of angry, at the people in my area who are very angry about a rate hike in our electric and gas bill, which has been kept artificially low by the state. Because they are the same people who are anti-socialism. And also apparently unaware of what socialism is. My boss seriously asked me why I continued working if I was a liberal-- didn't I think the state should take care of me!

Unfortunately, due to reading Animal Farm at an early age, I feel like pure socialism doesn't really work either, so I don't know what I think is a solution.

Ok- I am about to explodiate with RAGE at UPS. I ordered a whole bunch of clothes that I really really wanted and was looking forward to, at a HUGE discount. They attempted delivery three times. Each time I singed the info notice and left it on my door. Each time, I cam home, found the info notice on the ground in front of the door, and another info notice. I called this morning, because uaually there is a notice that they are holding the package, and where. Well, it turns out that I had to call them by 7 pm last night because they no longer hold the packages, and I needed to call the shipper. So I call the shipper, and they cannot just ship the package back to me, they have to refund me, and re-sell them to me, and I will lose my discount! Grrr!

Sophia, that is rage-inducing. Both the stoopid people and the stoopid UPS.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Grr indeed, Sophia!

I am feeling like airconditioning is magic right now. Because I was so miserable after my walk in one million percent humidity, but now I'm OK!

Sophia, that is maddening. UPS is the worst.

I have a friend that is so frustrated with UPS that she refuses to do business with anyone who ships with them. She instead emails them and tells them that they have lost a customer since they use UPS.

Ok- I am thinking of calling the store back, now that I am not enraged, and browbeating them for my discount back. I cancelled the whole order because I was so mad!
