We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Aw, Liese.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Liese, you're awesome for even offering to do that.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Please, someone tell me why I have a crush on Zac Efron. Summerland? Firefly? Seriously? I've never even seen him on the big screen.

Woah, big ass thunder rolling by overhead. Too bad we have backup generators.

Subliminal marketing from those Charlie St. Cloud ads. That's the only thing I can come up with.

It's the eyebrows.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

That's really generous of you, Liese.

Man, the funeral stuff is annoying. We have a very large family. The two caravans are down in SD with my parents. Not all of us own cars. Getting from LA to SD is either $ or favors. I thought I had a ride with one of the more pleasant of my brothers but I just got bumped. Now I've got to scramble for another way down. Honestly, I'd rather just send a proxy at this point.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

This is your grandmother, Spidra? Does the train go down there?

Yes. The train goes down to SD. And I might be able to arrange a pickup on the other side (the funeral is actually in La Jolla.) The fare is just a larger percentage of my income than it is of the employed brothers who bumped me from my brother's car. So that grates. I'm sure I'll get down there one way or another.

Aw, Liese.

So there was a hummingbird on my deck! Drinking from my flowers!
