Oh and from way back (because I'd forgotten about TextEdit) --
Anyone have opinions on whether the built-in GPS or the kind that you stick to the windshield is better?
The built in ones can't be moved from car to car. The suction cup ones leave a tell-tale suction cup mark that can lead people to breaking into your car to steal them.
That said, I made my choice when I realized the one on my phone worked nicely and the one offered in my car was really totally ugly. Clearly I weighed the pros and cons. That said, I do like turning on the map when I am in people's car with large displays. Like being in an Indiana Jones movie. With fewer swords. Usually.
The only thing not completely depressing about the stabbing robbery murder next neighborhood down from me is the random neighbor who (not knowing the victim,) after calling for help, cradled the man and held his hand as he died. In a way, I think it describes my poor city. It's got so much shit, and so much good, literally on top of each other geographically.
It's the general advice to order a half-size up than you normally wear with Fluevogs, yes? Because I desperately want to buy these: [link]
No swords.
What if I find one in some water? That'd be okay, right? No hijinks could possibly come from that.
Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords? No problem.
Oh Sara, I'm so terribly sorry.
Shrift, can't help you there. All mine are 10s, and honestly, they could be 9.5s, but I don't know if that is typical (yes, apparently I lost weight in my feet.) They tend to be generous in the toebox, from my experience (which is why I love them so) so if you've got skinny balls, I'd go with regular sizing even if the rec is to do a size up.
eta: Trudy, the murder? Eh, it doesn't hit me personally, but it is sad for the victim and the guy who helped him. It's my city, I'm used to this sort of shit (hello, car behind crimetape for a driveby!,) and yet I love it still for the goodness that abounds. Cause there is a lot of it. Just not in everyone.

I finally looked at the Fluevog heels I have, and I ordered a 7 1/2 when I normally take a 7. At the moment I'm trying to decide between the red+taupe+purple buttons in a 7, and the black & white in a 7 1/2.
Half size up, you can always do insoles and heel grips if they prove a smidge to big.
