"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

If you have any kind of fever, I'd say go into urgent care and get an antibiotic. The mouth is filled with nasty bacteria, so some kind of infection is relatively common. You could also see if your dentist would call in a prescription.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That's kind of what I was thinking, and 5 minutes ago, I definitely felt like I had a fever.

Now? Not so much.

Bodies are weird.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

agreeing with Ginger, perkins. it might be nothing, but it might be an infection. ( I have a friend that is having intermittent swelling from a root canal - in her case it is part of the healing process)

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

nothing much at garage sales this morning, but I did knock out a few errands:

- scanned in 3 sets of documents I need to get to people
- made copies of the contract on my co-op
- got meds
- took things to parents' house that had been left here
- got things from parents' house that had been left there
- picked up repaired shoe for mother

Now mac has his friend over AGAIN (it is almost everyday at this point and kinda making me crazy, but I know it is really good for them both, so I suck it up).

It is close to 100 already, feels hotter and I am trying to decide what to do. Options: - pack up more winter clothes into storage bags
- move things around in garage so storage shelves can be assembled
- do more organizing of my room or front room

Because books.

You need an actual thermometer, Perkins. Get one of the ear ones. Easy as pie and quick.

If there's no real (new, weird) pain, swelling, or fever, you're probably fine.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

So they're available for that long a stretch, Megan? Thanks for looking that up!

No problem.

Note: Four days is the maximum rental.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I am riding the bus with a womn who is making these pretty rational, well thought out arguments gaint right wing politics. the only trouble is she is talking to someone who is not there.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just got out of Burrell's car and an old lady talked her way into it. I hope she's not a super secret evil ninja in old lady costume.
