Right! Duh! B/c I offered you and Dallas a place to stay. Offer still stands. Do you have a departure date, yet?

I use a regular ol' alarm clock. Of course, my goal is to wake up before it goes off so I don't have to hear it.
So I realize that I'm new to the world of phone apps, but I just fell in love with Pandora. It brings me music!
We've been having serious net slowdowns here at work last week, and they decided to finally get their first blocked website--Pandora. Guess too many people were using it for the daily music while at work. They're also monitoring YouTube usage.
It brings me music!
And it brings new music!
I'd never hear new music otherwise. But it doesn't bring the scary new music--my Prince channel is pretty much stuff I've already heard before (and, uh, own). My Kansas channel is stuff that probably showed up on SPN. My Miles channel is stuff I really should have been listening to all this time, dammit, I just don't know what's good for me.
I have two alarms name Clio and Oz that generally wake me up 30-60 minutes before I need to get up. Then there's the actual alarm clock, which goes off when I need to get up. I don't turn it off on the weekends. I just hit snooze a kabillion times.
I could never get Pandora trained right. I tried to make a Female Vocalist channel, and it kept giving me ... James Taylor.
Alarms going off unnecessarily on the weekend is horrible for me. But I have insomnia, so it's rare I'm actually woken up by one. But the idea that I might have slept longer than that, and now can't (because I can't fall back asleep, ever) is horrible.
Oh, god. Today. End. Please. I need to be curled up in a ball right now.

Hee! Well, I never did come back and say it was offich.
I'll be dogsitting for another relative from tonight until next Saturday morning. Then I will hit the road and drive the 7th and the 8th. AND I FINALLY GET TO GO TO SOUTH OF THE BORDER!!!!
I'm holding out hope that maybe on the way back, whenever that is, I could drive at a more leisurely pace and see some peeps. I'm trying to be open to whatever happens, you know?

If you thumbs down people, it starts getting the hang of it. But female vocalists might be a bit general.
I am really, really good at ignoring cats and sleeping anyway. I can pet a cat in my sleep. I can ignore meows and poking and kneading. I am not saying I get good sleep, but I don't get out of bed. Maybe if there were two of them!
My old cat, Mr. Kitty, used to sleep on my face. My solution was to change sleeping areas. I would move from bed to sofa to other sofa all night long, and still, he slept on my face. He weighed 27 pounds.
The thing that eventually cured him was the time I got bronchitis, and he kept being violently coughed off of my face.
