Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What's wrong with sexualised poses?

I admit I don't pause, beforehand or afterwards, to check if I can pull anything off. Some work, some don't, it's simpler if I don't know which in detail.

I'm taking a moment to download family pictures from flickr to my phone. Someone at work asked me to see pictures of my sister and I didn't have any. Which I don't really think is weird (the question was, a bit), except I know my sister can always whip out pictures of me without hesitation, and that makes me feel a little bad.

That sword's blade looks like it wants to be a ninja blade

If you go into the "making of" he shows he took apart a cheap katana to make it. But the hilt looks like it wants a rapier blade.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Well, nothing`s wrong with sexualized poses in and of themselves. But in church as part of worship, no matter how rocked out, it was probably inappropriate. I kinda walk a line, though, because there is a lot of jumping around.

Our wings are not tired.

Thank you for the birthday wishes, all.

We went looking at new house and office options today because we want/need to move south some. Missed out on one we really liked because it was taken yesterday. The plan is to move and then put our house out for rent because I don't want to sell for a couple years. Also, with the boys in HS our needs in just a short time will be different than they are now so we want to rent.

One place we looked at was awesomely Florida. It was a good size, 4/3. Every room was painted a different bright color. Orange, Blue, Green, Yellow, with white trim and ceilings. French doors all over with water view from all rooms. The issue was the 190' of dock that wrapped around the place. Only 50' of the dock is available to us and the other 140' is rented out to various other people. So when we arrived there was already 3 cars in the driveway from people on their boats. People would be coming and going any hour of the day or night walking through the yard. It was kinda odd. Cool house though, but the owner is surely making a fortune from dock fees. I think I would have a big privacy issue. Still looking.

Ah, context, sweet context.

That'll do it.

Okay, now people can ask to see pictures of my family. They'll just have to ignore the other pictures I skim by to get there. Which would be where I probably out myself as straight, unless I stock up on Gina Torres.

Hee. Context is helpful. Yeah, it`s our regular Saturday gig. It`s fun, but likely to go downhill shortly after the band leader leaves this spring.

I can`t show pictures of family on demand. Huh. Can most people, these days? I think it`s a moderately odd request. Were you talking about your sister? About how she looks? I don`t think any coworker has ever asked to see a photo of my sister.

Our wings are not tired.

I would have pictures of my kids, maybe, but unlikely to have pics of my siblings on hand. On my Flickr page I could find some.

I've talked about her enough that people not on my team recite back facts about her to me. Which==too much. But it's a reflex of mine, to talk a lot about my family, her especially. No one's ever asked to look, before. I certainly wasn't talking about how she looks. I only talk about her big brains and the fact that she's locked in an academic white tower.

Maybe it's an incipient love match... [[scrubs brain]]

She has at least one picture of me in her wallet. So I figure the least I can do is have a picture of her on my phone. And I had to go by pictures of my parents to get there, so it felt mean not to click and save them too.

Still, I've never put up a family picture in a cubicle, and that's not happening any time soon.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have a picture of my father on my phone because I didn't think to bring my camera when I saw him perform last year, but that's about it.
