I would love a full-skirted pink gingham dress. The sheath I have is more than a little not work-appropriate.
I think I might have a full-skirted red and black dress I could wear to work tomorrow with a black cardigan. Maybe that would help the urge.
As for mindset, hmmph. I need to fake it. Not even until I make it. My mindset doesn't get dainty.
Apparently, the Law and Order theme song pisses off a lot of dogs. A quick YouTube search reveals dozens of videos recorded by dog owners who observe their pets flipping out when the TV show theme music begins.
This has just done what eleventy years of Richard Belzer and Sam Waterston was unable to do: make Law & Order appointment television in my apartment. Enjoy, neighbor's tiny yappy dog!
house inspection is tomorrow!
msbelle, a friend's house in Euless of similar vintage had aluminum wiring, and she ended up having a fire because of it. You might want to double check that the inspector looks for it. (Aluminum wiring expands and contracts more than copper, meaning it's more likely to have loose connections over time. Incorrectly connecting it to copper = fire and over the course of a home's life, the probability approaches 100% that there will be an idiot involved with the wiring.)
I am skeptical of that sword's balance. He must give it to me so I can test it out.
I am not a dainty person. Saturday night I was straddling the mic stand and realized I should probably back off because not only was it a sexualized rock pose, but it was a
male
sexualized stance. Hee. I always crack myself up at some point during the set pulling shit like that. But yeah, nothing dainty about it.
It would have looked worse in a skirt, I guess. I wonder if I could pull off a skirt on stage. I`d need stripey tights. I`m pretty sure I couldn`t work any portion of pink gingham junta, though, seeing as how my current uni is all black all the time.
There seems to have been a furry convention in Addison this weekend [link]
That sword's blade looks like it wants to be a ninja blade, but the grip looks interesting. I agree the balance looks off. It should be passed around for testing.
What's wrong with sexualised poses?
I admit I don't pause, beforehand or afterwards, to check if I can pull anything off. Some work, some don't, it's simpler if I don't know which in detail.
I'm taking a moment to download family pictures from flickr to my phone. Someone at work asked me to see pictures of my sister and I didn't have any. Which I don't really think is weird (the question was, a bit), except I know my sister can always whip out pictures of me without hesitation, and that makes me feel a little bad.
