These girls have the most beautiful dresses. And so do I -- how about that?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I would love to hang out with you sometime, Liese. Solve both our problems.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, we obviously hated each other.

Yup.

I am so sorry I had to leave! Next time, the DH is going to have to do the baby/dog pickups so I can stay out!

information libertarian

So, we had friends (dad and 3 daughters) stopping to spend the night last night on the drive from New Orleans to Washington. The dad said they'd come between 5 and 6. I was working, but mr. flea planned to go out for dinner with the dads and kids and have a nice little visit, brief though it might be, since we have a school/work day today and they'd need to leave to get home today (10+ hour drive).

They rolled up at 10:15pm. Needless to say my kids were asleep, and this morning we got up quietly and left the house at 7:30, so the kids didn't get to see each other at all. I know stuff happens on the road, but he didn't leave NO until noon (it's 550-600 miles). So I'm a little annoyed that I get to feel like the bad guy for making everyone go to school/work this morning, and sad that the kids got all excited to see the girls and didn't get to.

Please tell me he at least called to tell you he was late getting on the road? Otherwise, guest fail!

Also, big box of toys came yesterday and Kalee is busy eating her way through them! Thank you!

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Oh, man, Leverage. Netflix On Demand doesn't release it till this afternoon.

That's right, d'oh, it's a "K" and not a "C". I have gone back and edited.

Sparky, I wish that you could have stayed, too. But I am very glad that I even got that short time with you. VERY.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just asked someone if she would go on this website and see if she could do a certain thing, because I couldn't. She wrote back asking for my login info. Um, I know I can't do it! I'm wondering if you can!

So in order to not have a 45 minute+ commute, I went the wrong way down one way streets in a tony neighborhood.

I'm having a real hard time feeling any sense of wrongness...

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Oh dear, Jesse.

My boss keeps sounding really scattered and not good in meetings, and I can tell that it is irritating boss's boss. I don't know how to stop it. She just talks so fast and doesn't actually finish her sentences, and her boss is really, really, a step-by-step kind of person. And she just completely skips around on the agenda that I make. When I was trying to help her out by explaining what she meant was when she thought I was trying to take her job.
