I think it can be interesting so far as showing that we're all special unique snowflakes and not the same.
Yeah, I had a friend in college who'd get very frustrated with me for my not liking to plan everything I did ahead of time. The Meyers-Briggs test made me realize I wasn't bad for being like this, just different.
Besides, my friend who planned everything ahead? Would end up changing his plans anyway. So there.
MBTI can be helpful communicating with different peeps, if you know their type.
My family plans the shit out of everything, but invariably changes them about 5 times.
Anyone here take Synthroid or know much about it? I started it about a week ago and while I don't feel like a "new woman" yet (was told it takes about 4 weeks to feel the positive effects), I swear my brain is even more of a sieve than usual. Just remembering simple steps in a process is rough. The last couple of days at work I have had to redo things because I forget a step along the way. VERY frustrating.
To top it all off, I woke up today completely congested. And it has been downhill from there.
Java - very jealous of your visiting today. Baby snuggling, Sparky AND MFN. Talk about a fantastic trifecta!
I don't think I've ever taken MBTI, but I seem to remember taking some test that called me an extroverted introvert. I think.
I like to have a general plan for things. My control freaky side would love to have detailed plans, but I have found I'm actually more relaxed about things if I can keep the plans fairly loose. Easier to roll with changes that way.
Ah man, they got the power turned back on in our building. Guess I have to go to work tomorrow.
One of my coworkers swears I'm an intj instead of an intp because I show up to most meetings on time (something she never manages). I didn't tell her that the p stands for "professional". But I really wanted to.
I swear, this road closure is revenge for me loving my commute. I've done all I can for now. I'd LOVE to talk to Mary Pat Clarke and find out if they put any creative thought into this. Like night work, alternating lanes of traffic (it's 2 each way,) staging work, what. Because this is just so kerfucked. 4 lanes of traffic is getting dumped into already capacity roads with fewer than that. Seriously? I'm going to be using the alleys in the swank neighborhood IF THEY ARE CLEAR.
I didn't tell her that the p stands for "professional". But I really wanted to.
You know, there is How Your Brain Is Wired and then there is just how you behave in a professional environment.
You aren't naturally a super-punctual person? Adapt, dumbass. They pay you.
Or schedule meeting times as -ish.
Someone needs to adapt though.
xfinity is the dumbest corporate name. What is xfinity - the opposite of infinity?
