Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I love my Asus, though it's a netbook, not a full-fledged laptop.

Ditto this. Also, I have an old Toshiba laptop that, AFAIK, cannot be killed. It's been upgraded with lots of memory and new gizmos, and it's still going. If it weren't so heavy, I'd carry it everywhere.

Because books.

The guy at Best Buy said he had two -- one for gaming, one for school -- and he definitely seemed to know what he was talking about.

Our Spanish freelancer in New Orleans sent us a king cake and beads! So I finally get to try one.

It's basically a big cinnamon roll, isn't it? Nothing like a French galette des Rois.

Interesting post on Winter Olympics marketing/Native American culture. [link]

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

It's basically a big cinnamon roll, isn't it?

That's one kind. The other is sort of a cream-filled bundt-like thing.

How is the outer shell holding up, Plei?

It's shiny and occasionally covered in cat fur.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Plei - polish question for you. I have Ruby Slippers from China Glaze and would love to find a black with a similar glitter/shimmer. Any suggestions?

This is the kind I like, but seems impossible to find outside of the state. My favorite filling is Amaretto.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I don't really approve of filled king cakes. I mean, they're okay, but they don't seem like king cakes to me.

I'm sort of glad they are not like the king cakes I know because eating them on Mardi Gras never made sense to me. Now I can just compartmentalize them in my brain as two entirely different beasts.
