I don't know, the announcers say so little during the performance, and the music was so uninteresting, I'm not sure it made much of a difference.
I was trying to think if nostalgia has colored the coverage of the games in my youth, but then I realized there were 25% fewer medal events back then so that may have had something to do with it feeling more complete.

I haven't been in my office since Wednesday. I am a little afraid of the paperwork that's been collecting, even before I get there.
I really have to get cracking on a couple of projects today. Things need to Get Done this week, and it's already Tuesday, and I'm leaving midday Thursday. Oops.

The city, in its infinite wisdom, decided to go ahead with road construction that completely closes down 39th, a main route from NE. When no side streets are plowed, and the alternate routes, a nightmare under the best circumstances, are down to one lane each way. CITY FAIL.
