The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I am at home, and plan on spending the day cleaning. I've actually accomplished stuff already, which is nice.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Well, I finished upgrading to iTunes plus, and am now finishing up synching my work and home libraries; however, I'm not sure that really counts as productivity.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I'm preparing for a meeting and setting up Liv so she can play games on pbskids.org.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

It's between Grover and Kermit for me. Grover earned a lot of childhood love from me for The Monster at the End of This Book. Also for "Over, Under, Around and Through."

I am at work and was hella productive. I am at lunch right now. Having a day and a half away from work kinda made me. I've piles and piles of stuff to get done, including giving boss an approximation of what percentage of time I spend on all of my tasks. (I suspect this is because we've been asked to cut our production tremendously).

hip deep in pie

I've decided why I am avoiding finishing the draft of this document--it sucks.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

And oh, Dick Francis died.

Aww, man. That makes me sad.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I am at home after a very successful trip to the zoo with Dylan and our neighbors (whose son is one of Dylan's best friends).

Now my feet hurt because I need new boots. I think I shall send DH out for groceries while I lounge.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

We spent the whole weekend eating Thai food in Portland and shopping at outlet malls. And Powell's.

We bought a new suitcase (to replace the one that conveniently broke on the trip), a bunch of food at Harry and David's and Trader Joe's, shirts and belts at Brooks Brothers, a new pair of jeans for me, socks, kitchen utensils, and a couple of new shirts for work.

I almost bought these shoes.

And finally, as a Valentine's Day gift, my husband talked me into this Coach purse. (Note: that poster is not me. I don't refer to my purses as "she".)

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I have some thoughts about what I might do, but right now I am serving the master by having a good lap for a cat nap

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I am having a normal workday, except my commute was about 3 million times more pleasant without the high school students on the bus!

I also feel like crap-- my face hurts-- my sinuses and nose sort of feel like I got hit hit a bat across the nose. My eyes hurt, and I just feel bad (nauseated and tired). I have felt like this in the afternoons for about a week, and on and off for several months. I feel like I never quite get sick enough to go to the doctor-- no real congestion or mucous or cough-- but this could end any time.
