Do I wish I was somebody else right now. Somebody not... married, not madly in love with a beautiful woman who can kill me with her pinkie!

The use of the audience as a backdrop is really neat too.

I knew Donald Sutherland was Canadian because I knew Keifer was Canadian, but only because of Sassy Magazine when they had a tidbit about Keifer had his really long name Kiefer William Fredrick Dempsey George Rufus Sutherland .

Dear America. We are sorry for Bryan Adams, Nelly Furtado and their ilk. (We're looking at you Celine.)

They're more than canceled out by Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen, the McGarrigles, Gordon Lightfoot, Neil Young, Ian and Sylvia, Fred Eaglesmith, et al.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Bryan Adams does do awesome photography. Which I think makes up for, you know, him being Bryan Adams. I dunno, he's like Canada's Bon Jovi to me. And, wow. I don't really know if I could unpack that beyond musician I am fond of despite a general dislike for his music.
