sara, I was thinking of you today, listening to "Nolita Fairytale." It's all about how happy she is with her life, but also her neighborhood, and it reminded me of you right away.

I love the tap dancers and the maple leaves I don't know it's long but it's so cool all the different elemtns and sounds and dances they've put together for this. Tap andacers on fire! Literally!

There's just such egotism in academia, even among the nice people. Being in a room with faculty is exhausting to me now. All this jockeying for power.
You know, sometimes I wonder why I decided not to go to grad school. And then I remember this. It was a great disappointment to me, how much I actually hated college. In retrospect, I should have gone somewhere else.
