I misread the Georgia one wrong.
The article itself isn't implying anything is wrong with what the ice dancers are doing.
It's the people commenting on the article who are making racist and ignorant comments that the ice dancers are traitors to America, they need to be deported and have their citizenship revoked, etc.
There are also people pointing out that it's no big deal, that this isn't the first time it's happened, and there is nothing wrong with having dual citizenship.
I am super excited about the olympics! It's Vancouver! I wish I were there! Hockey! Luge! Curling! I am so excited about curling. I got all sucked in four years ago because it kept getting lumped in with the hockey on my tivo, and I got captivated. I could watch curling for hours, and I only get to once every four years! Yay Olympics!
(The management apologizes for the over-effusive use of punctuation in the above post. The poster has been chided and use of the exclamation point has been rescinded for an hour. Please resume your regular reading.)

I'm still pissed about the time delay. I do love the Olympics, but I have no interest in watching if I know the results.
I also hate that NBC is so vague about their coverage: "From 1pm-5pm, these 10 things will be on." Not helpful.
HMOG!
In trying to cram in a bunch of invoices in 2 hours, I discovered an entire month of invoices for our biggest vendor never got scanned in. Somewhere in the yearend shuffle they are just not there. scramble scramble. So I think I will take my snow day off another day. I still need to leave early since I left the precious (mac's ds) at home and he will freak out like a wild boar should he not have it for the ride back from therapy. GRR.
SO now I am just staying until like 2 or 3 and see if I can cram through a few more invoices. good god.
I've got to clean off my dvr for the Olympics, too. I'm recording tonight's opening ceremonies more for the ability to fast-forward through the nations (I like to see what they're wearing, and then move on) than anything else.
I'm a big fan of downhill skiing due to the fact that my first-ever crush was at the age of just-shy-of-ten when I saw Franz Klammer windmill his arms around to stay on his skis in the '76 Innsbruck games. God, he was gorgeous!
I'll watch just about everything else, too. Got sucked into the snowboarding side-by-side races in the Torino games, so that I'll be dvring.
Liese! !!!!!! Have some exclamation marks! I'm even using them in my speech today.
Oh, and really, the opening ceremonies? Won't be anything like Beijing. Just FYI. Kind of a tough act to follow.
