Don't worry, I'm not gonna start any sword fights. I'm over that phase.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Here in DC, it's still snowing, and lots of wind. I'm not going outside unless it calms down some.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

My goodness, it's snowing like the dickens outside.

Gee whiz.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I read that as "snowing like CHICKENS"

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Nothin' in Somerville. In several senses of the term, actually.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Wow, the laundromat here is more depressing than any I used in NYC. But my stuff is clean! And I got extra quarters for future use.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

In the last 20 minutes, my view from work windows has greatly decreased. Whole blocks just disappeared into white. Very Stephen King.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

We got a snow day today! Yay! Although I'm not sure why. There's about 5-6" on the ground here and it's sunny and the roads are totally clear. Maybe it's worse near my school.

And, we really got an earthquake this morning?? It woke me up because my metal closet doors were rattling hard enough they popped open. I totally thought I was dreaming it and promptly fell back asleep. Didn't realize it was real until about 20 minutes ago when I read shrift's FB about not feeling it. It must have been fairly strong here to wake me up because it takes a lot to wake me.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Oh Joy. My horrible Wednesday meeting that is basically a clusterfuck of people talking around each other and not confirming dates and everything generally being up in the air will now be another hour on Fridays in addition to the regular Wednesdays. I want to kick something in the face.

My synagogue is trying to organize a minyan for this afternoon -- I have no idea if they're going to make it. If I counted, then I might go, but this synagogue only counts men.

Art Crawl!!!

Chikat - it's epicenter was in Sycamore. Are you in Aurora? Or Naperville? Because you would be alot closer to the epicenter than Shrift.
