Now we're saving a vampire from vampires. I got two words for that -- Nuh and uh.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Good luck sara!

I've got a phone interview in a little while, and then I'm going to see if I can get into my office to get some stuff to work on at home.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Now, I play a pretty decent game of Backgammon. The kids play too, though we rarely play together unless we are at my dad's.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Happy Birthday, Suzi!!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Made it to work, so today is already better than yesterday. Also got my DD coffee, so better on 2 counts already.

My boss has checked out of this job mentally, it is not even funny. I am so glad I am on vacation next week.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Managed to make it downtown last night to see the stage adaptation of Terry Pratchett's "Nation". Actually, it was a silmulcast of the production in London. Very nice.

I wonder if I'll actually have work this week. I'm taking Friday off to fly to Boston. (yes we're keeping a close eye on the airline/airport situation)

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Yay work and DD coffee, msbelle! Hmmm. I am not sure if Yay work! is the best sentiment.

I am horrible, horrible, horrible at scrabble, although it never occurred to me that reading the whole word rather than sounding it out might be why. Actually, I don't even know if I get how sounding out a word teaches you to read, just how to pronounce something. Hmmm.

I also think I might hab a cold.

hip deep in pie

I am middling at Scrabble. I don't suck, but I don't have those instant anagram skills, nor the patience to sit there an figure out good words. I am getting better at learning to use the triple/double score spots, but sometimes I just fall for a pretty word. I usually start strong, but then get impatient for the game to end.

Because books.

Happy, happy birthday, Suzi, with love and cake!

I'm Sue when it comes to Scrabble, but I'm ruthless at backgammon. Love it. Except no one at home will play with me anymore.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I adore Scrabble but my neighbors have also got me hooked on Syzygy (which is played with Scrabble tiles but no board).

Anyway. I need more Scrabble in my life. I get my Backgammon fix on the iPhone, but the Scrabble app eats up too much battery life. Facebook Scrabble, anyone?

Because books.

I don't even know where the Facebook games are. I should figure that out. I also need to find Syzygy, apparently.
