Do I wish I was somebody else right now. Somebody not... married, not madly in love with a beautiful woman who can kill me with her pinkie!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm cold, and it's raining again.
If I were in the Caribbean, I bet I would be warm, even if it were raining.
I want to go to the Caribbean.

Trust my rage

But you would be sticky and itchy. I know of what I speak.

I bet it would still be better

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Wanna go sometime this spring? I've been really feeling the need to get the hell out and get some sun recently. (Not helped by the fact that my sister is on a Panama Canal cruise right now.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's not sticky and itchy in Jamaica all the time. I know of what I speak.

My god, I just ended up on tvtropes.org (don't ask--sometimes I can't stop myself) reading the page on Buffy tearjerkers and I had to stop because it was making me actually cry. Jaysus. To hell with you, Joss.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Caribbean sounds nice.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I just looked at the forecast for Tuesday night and apparently it's going to snow for 24 hours straight starting about 10pm tomorrow.

Yeah, I could go for a beach in the Caribbean right now.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I remember watching the episode where Buffy's mom died, and I felt horrible for days afterward. It was really well-made, I think, because my uncle (who never watched Buffy before or since, and really hardly watches TV) stopped on it, watched the whole thing, and was very moved. His mother (my grandma) had died a few years before. At its best, Buffy was really universal.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Dangit. Matilda tripped and fell on the surge protector, turning off all the TV/VCR/Tivo/Cable box.

I lost what I was watching on Tivo and it took forever (maybe 2 minutes!) for everything to boot up.
