And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

We have to clearly mark things "TRASH" or the cleaning staff won't touch them. We usually remember to tell new hires this when we see three or four clearly used & discarded Fedex boxes stacked outside their cube.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That seems like a good policy to me -- assuming you have trash containers that also get emptied.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Boxes and stuff have to be clearly marked trash before the cleaning staff will touch them, but they do grab the empty coke cans and coffee cups every so often.

Did I post here that I JUST TODAY learned that neither of the large containers in my basement are for trash? I'm super embarassed. And also annoyed that I'm going to have to remember trash day. That is not why I live in an apartment!

Oh yeah, the trash cans are emptied every night. But the big Fedex boxes don't really fit in them if you want to throw anything else out that day.

I wish they would throw out used food containers because some people let their desks get seriously gross, but I can also see how easily an important piece of paper could get swept up that way.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What are the containers for?

I'm operating under the assumption we don't have a regular trash day. I have been trying to track when recycling gets emptied, and it's making no sense. Or maybe everyone else has tracked it, and refills it right away.

Both for recycling, apparently. Even though the City of Boston says put all your recycling together.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm cold, and it's raining again.
If I were in the Caribbean, I bet I would be warm, even if it were raining.
I want to go to the Caribbean.

Trust my rage

But you would be sticky and itchy. I know of what I speak.

I bet it would still be better
