Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

My apartment faces the back of the building, which means I need to get dressed to check whether the plows have come by. Maybe later.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oops. They lost a patient. There's a couple out here in the waiting room freaking out because their friend wandered out of his ER room. The guards are looking for him, kinda. They don't much care. If the guy doesn't want to get stitched up, it's not their issue. The friends have already wandered the streets looking for him, and now they're just losing it.

6:15 AM, Sunday morning. I am at work.

Please let everyone be too involved with the Super Bowl to bother me.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I went candlepin bowling last night, which is as damn tough as advertised -- candlepins are smaller and skinnier than "real" bowling pins, and the ball is about the size of a softball, no holes, and much lighter.

I think I strained all the bowling muscles in my butt....

I should start digging. Don't wanna.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

My cat and I seem to be producing more than normal amounts of static electricity. She just rubbed against me, and then went to lick me, and we both got shocked from the lick!

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Today is my first day off in two weeks, so I'm being all self-indulgent. I woke up at my usual 5 a.m., but then loafed in bed until 6:30. Just finished a two-egg omelet with ham, cheddar, and green onions, plus pancakes with peanut butter and honey. Haven't done that in a very long time.

I'm soooo tempted to go back to bed and sleep the day away, but at some point I need to do laundry and a grocery run.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oops. They lost a patient.

I read that the wrong way at first. Gave me flashbacks.

She just rubbed against me, and then went to lick me, and we both got shocked from the lick!

dang, Sophia. I'll bet the cat was surprised.

My cat and I are the only ones awake here. She's keeping me company while I attempt to get a bit of grading done. The plan is to go see snow later, so I should do a bit of work now. Shame I can't make a pot of coffee first, but it would wake up Isaac.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Snow stopped late yesterday afternoon. Now we need to excavate our cars. Also, the power went out at 7:30 last night and came back on around 1 am. We went to bed early since there was little else to do in a dark, cold house.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

My cat and I seem to be producing more than normal amounts of static electricity.

Us too! It's weird. Their fur crackles with tiny sparks, and they glare at me.
