Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Yup. I'm one of the office people, so I would probably not wear jeans and a T,since I am THE MAN. The actual caption editors wear pretty much any kind of thing, heavy on the jeans and t shirts with sayings on them and ratty vintage cardigans. Plus a lot of flip flops.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I apologize, but there will never be a better time for me to be in a snowpocalypse! No car, no commute, no responsibility for shoveling, best-ever supermarket two blocks away!

Gives Jesse the stinkeye

Re pumpernickel bagels, I don't like them if they have the whole caraway seeds in them (both because they get caught in my teeth, and they are too strong in that form), but when they don't I LOOOOOOVE them.

Re best pizza - I call foul that the original Pizzeria Regina wasn't on the list of Boston entries. Though I do note that Picco in Boston got to round 3, so I'll need to check that out. I'm also flabbergasted that Frank Pepe's got beat in the first round, though since it was by the eventual northeast winner, there may be mitigating circumstances.

Awwwww, puppies! I think "Garbanzo" is a perfect name for a puppy.

I think I have a better work ethic at home than in the office....

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Mmm. Drinking Ting. Not going to make a habit of it, since it's ridiculously expensive for these wee bottles

When I was a kid we drank tons of Ting, as it was cheaper than other soda.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Mochi yay! Nom nom nom. I wish I had mochi right now. It would be great with a modifier. Alas, I can only buy the mochi rice flour here and I am too lazy to make it myself.

I thought cargo pants would be slightly less casual than jeans due to the not-denim. But I am not to be trusted as I am wearing yoga pants and a Volcanoes National Park hoodie to work right now. And dressing for work means some punked out all black outfit. So yeah, what do I know? I loves me some cargo pants, that`s all I know.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

$2 for 10oz! And googling seems to indicate I can't really get those bottles shipped to my house for much cheaper. But I can get the 20oz plastic bottles for almost the same price. Truly sensical.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Because of Snowpocalypse 2: Electric Boogaloo, the federal government closed four hours early. So, here I am, at home. Where I'll be until Sunday, at least.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

What do people like for online photo printing services? I.e., shutterfly, snapfish?

I have no idea why Ting is the only real soda I like (lost my taste for ginger ale with one of the meds switches) and the only grapefruit-flavoured thing I like. I grew up despising grapefruit (but was served it anyway).

Maybe if I actually ironed the cargo pants they might look appropriate enough.
