Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Because of Snowpocalypse 2: Electric Boogaloo, the federal government closed four hours early. So, here I am, at home. Where I'll be until Sunday, at least.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

What do people like for online photo printing services? I.e., shutterfly, snapfish?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have no idea why Ting is the only real soda I like (lost my taste for ginger ale with one of the meds switches) and the only grapefruit-flavoured thing I like. I grew up despising grapefruit (but was served it anyway).

Maybe if I actually ironed the cargo pants they might look appropriate enough.

Star Trek lolcats.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

A blast from the past:

Astronomers Discover New Planet Out Beyond Neptune (Jun, 1930)

The recently discovered planet, already named Pluto, is judged to be the same size as the earth.

Heh.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I like Shutterfly for photo books ( t edit and calendars); I've never tried any online service for individual prints (I just upload prints to Ritz Camera's site and then pick them up in person since there's a Ritz across the street from my office t edit and because I'm horrible at delaying gratification and actually waiting for the things to be delivered).

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Flickr's photo printing is pretty good. (Though when I've used their "pick up at Target" service, some of my pics werr weirdly cropped.)

I've been calling this storm some variation of Snowpocalypsageddon. Now NWS estimates are at 20-30+ inches.

I give up.

Oh dear.

Soon there will be so much snow that it will form a glacier that will destroy the city.

What happens when a destructo glacier meets killer frost?

Besides a SyFy movie, I mean.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Soon there will be so much snow that it will form a glacier that will destroy the city.

If that happens, we need a watch and post report.

For as long as you can, I mean.
