Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

both my sisters beat me at scrabble.

I used to be good at Scrabble. But she has a huge number of online games under her belt against tough opponents and a 60% win ratio, and I have played once in the past six months. I start out strong, but 3/4 of the way through she pops out the 7-letter words and whoosh!

She's gotten two seven letter words on triple word tiles in one game. How is this fun for me?

OK, I've totally made up the hour I needed to doing work (ok, configuring shit) but I'm not tired. Hope I wake up to call into the meeting and justify staying home tomorrow. I could totally go in an leave when it started getting bad, but this is an experiment, damnit! To see if I can. I already know the vpn is daid, ssh is reeeaaaal slow with the ssh and I can't bring up the dev system without vpn. Call it good?

I've decide I will lose most of the time. I am better tahn I used to be. I have 7 games going on . so I compete against my self -- trying to do better than the last word. I have won a few games.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

ita, I will happily take you to Costco sometime. I think I need to go soon anyway, stock up on wet wipes.

(Don't look at me that way. Sure, Terrence Howard is a creep, but I'm a fan of the wet wipes. Good for all sorts of unintended uses, like cleaning the bathroom counter.)

Also? I've been helping some folks write a grant proposal. Yoinks. I could so use a good stiff drink.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I don't know how Costco's not worth the membership for ita. I do most of my shopping there. Of course, most of my cooking involves huge bags of vegetables, well-priced wine, and toilet paper.

bon, it's all about how often I'd go. It's out of my way. And even when it was on my way I think it encouraged me to spend. The bulk food is wasted on me since it goes bad, but electronics and DVDs and other electables...I took advantage of that. Oh, and the alcohol.

Burrell, let's pick a time. A visit there might convince me I need to re-up myself.

What recipes call for toilet paper?

javachik, I was just gonna ask. Then I decided she probably saved it for later.

How does the weekend look for you, ita?

sarameg - Feb 04, 2010 7:57:18 pm PST #6335 of 30001

Snowpocalypsgeddon, of course! Uh, I really do hope I have enough tp for the next 3 days. Can't recall the last time I bought a batch. I could go look at the basement shelves, but... I can walk to stores, regardless of the weather. And all reports are they were INSANE tonight.

I should go to bed, but knowing I don't have to get dressed for my 9:30? Wreaking havoc on that, it is.
