Snowpocalypsgeddon, of course!
Uh, I really do hope I have enough tp for the next 3 days. Can't recall the last time I bought a batch. I could go look at the basement shelves, but... I can walk to stores, regardless of the weather. And all reports are they were INSANE tonight.
I should go to bed, but knowing I don't have to get dressed for my 9:30? Wreaking havoc on that, it is.
I'm couchless. Which causes me less distress than it causes Chile Pepper.
"New" couch gets delivered Saturday morning. YAY! I frakking love it when Craigslist works out.
Yay new couch! Couches are good.
Loki is doing his best to cathair my work laptop sleeve. At least he isn't barfing on it like Devi did the one I got for xmas. Laptop sleeves do not wash and dry (my biggest mistake) well.
How does the weekend look for you, ita?
Uh, uncertain? My current plan is Sunday am ER, which means I can't drive Sunday and I might not be publically salvageable Saturday. If you could pick me up Sunday? Oy.
Just making a joke since in my head those are my top three reasons for Costco. (and my cats like their cheap kitty litter, and fiber one bars!) Also? I got dried mango and berries there this weekend, made instant oatmeal from beth's recipe, and it was delicious!
Yeah, Costco rocks. And it definitely accounts for my dvd purchases. And wine. And gallon of crushed garlic (what was I thinking?!). And I do have to say that I thought the little quiches and veggie meatballs and crabcakes I bought there were surprisingly tasty.
Picking you up is no problem, ita. You really do live close by. But we can play it by ear, let me know how you feel on the day.
TJs has these crispy seawead strips... oh ho ho sooo gooood. But they have yet to work out the kinks in the supply chain, so they only have them like once every couple of months.
I swear I've set my work laptop's backdrop to a personal porn that makes me not want to work: Everest, Paro, Himalayas, random Bhutanese prayer flags. Whenever I open a new screen absent of crap, I just sigh and miss it.
It was a good summer.
Costco has these flour tortillas that you cook yourself. Yummy.
From what I understand from my friend who used to work at Costco, it isn't a supply chain issue. It's that CostCo only buys items when it will be a deal for the customer. And product price waxes and wanes, hence the availability issues. Rather than the squeezing Wal-Mart approach, it's more of an opportunity approach.
