I didn't realize WA was a controlled state! Steve and I are trying to figure out how much wine I am legally allowed to bring to him in MA.

Man, I swear Scotch prices have jumped. I was at the booze store yesterday, and Oban at inflated WA prices (California, you are lucky) was almost $70. It used to be our $50 staple.

I remember when Oban was one of the cheaper scotches, around $35. Then scotch became popular worldwide and prices when up and up. I think the last time I bought it here, I forked over $85. That was when there was a shortage and It wasn't always in stock.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Wow. I can't believe there's a cap.

Mmm. Finally had the yoghurt chicken. Man, that was tender.

I hafta believe there is one, since I can't ship him any. :(

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Recheck on that shipping rule, since restrictions on interstate wine shipments were recently ruled illegal unconstitutional.

Hmm. I seem to remember there being a mailing alcohol issue. I don't think there's any limit on what you can take with you, though.

Yeah, bon bon, I was just reading about that. Hmmmm.

I think I will bring a case of wine with me and check it.

Ahhhh... California's loose liquor laws are happy making. State stores confuse me.

I left work early today, that is to say, at 4:15 PM instead of my later time for this week. Tomorrow, I'm taking my team for dinner before the competition. I am exhausta-milated.

I kinda want to go and have yummy breakie tomorrow since it's payday.

As a MA resident who loves booze, I will say we've been keeping a close eye on these things but change is SLOW. It may be unconstitutional, but no one's rushing to put in the hours to rework the policy on the state level.
