Ahhhh... California's loose liquor laws are happy making. State stores confuse me.
I left work early today, that is to say, at 4:15 PM instead of my later time for this week. Tomorrow, I'm taking my team for dinner before the competition. I am exhausta-milated.
I kinda want to go and have yummy breakie tomorrow since it's payday.
Recheck on that shipping rule, since restrictions on interstate wine shipments were recently ruled illegal unconstitutional.
As a MA resident who loves booze, I will say we've been keeping a close eye on these things but change is SLOW. It may be unconstitutional, but no one's rushing to put in the hours to rework the policy on the state level.
I guess Mass. still has to wait: [link]
Yes, it's slow, but it does look like change, she is a comin'!
OMG, my sister just called to tell me she now not coming tomorrow. I always think I am flaky about committing to plans, but she takes the cake!
That's probably better than a $50 bottle of Tequila.
No it's not. Good tequila is
good.
So I had a fun visit with meara, a good swim and I mostly have my work computer working from home. My VPN won't fire up and I'm sure it is a configuration issue (it worked at work from the visitor network!) but now I guess it doesn't like my wireless configs or something.
But I have workarounds (ssh) that are passable, if imperfect and slower. Also, I've used up all the outlets in the livingroom.
But I have workarounds (ssh)
I won't tell them.
I mentioned my sister was beating my ass at Scrabble? Now she's beating it worse. I suck.
I just called out a Northwestern J-school senior over a factual error in an article. I hope he is properly ashamed since the first link on a simple google search would have prevented the error.
eta: And I already have a response!
My goodness, you're absolutely correct. We'll fix this!
