Okay, the internet is nothing if not good for other people wailing. I think I've ordered the correct proprietary part from Amazon. Oops, forgot to use the link. But anyway, it was five bucks. It cost more for the shipping than the product. But it better turn up promptly.

That's probably better than a $50 bottle of Tequila.
Uh...that I've done. Multiple sorts at a time. But I'm a tequila girl. I don't know whiskey from...well, Oban's the only brand I could tell you. I bet it's Plei's fault.
I noticed a bottle of $120 Appleton rum behind glass at BevMo. I drooled a little. 21 years old. The fanciest I've had is the XL.
Huh. Suddenly I want to date men and drink alcohol that's the same age.
Not a half-hour ago, I saw the clip from American Pie where Mrs. Stifler has an 18-year-old scotch or whatever, along with her 18-year-old boytoy.

Actually, I think I have a couple of bottles too, on the tequila.
I haven't finished them, but now I think I should.
Oban is not worth $70. $50, yes, and it's a mighty tasty $50. A tasty $50 that I would go through very quickly. Mmmm, Oban.

Man, I swear Scotch prices have jumped. I was at the booze store yesterday, and Oban at inflated WA prices (California, you are lucky) was almost $70. It used to be our $50 staple.
At least if your bill is a crazy high estimate, you won't have to pay next month.
I went for--I shit you not--seven months without having to pay a gas bill when I switched from estimated to metered.
In other news, talk of rum has me craving a Dark-n-Stormy.
