Oh, Owen.

Sue, feel better. And cancel your dentist appt. That is one chair you shouldn't be in with tummy troubles.

I just realized the graduate seminar I am teaching today is at 11am and not 10am. By some miracle, the room was actually open for the correct hour, and I had already taken myself off the 11-12 desk schedule in case the class ran long. On the down side, now I won't get to eat lunch - I am booked solid in public from 11-3pm. And then I have my annual review at 3:30. Have I mentioned I am also having tummy troubles and the dentist proposed a treatment plan for Casper involving two crowns and $2147?

I would so like a do-over, starting at about 2:30pm yesterday.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Ugh Flea, and Sue. I hope you all feel better, and get to have lunch.

What??

Msbelle, I hope your tests go smoothly.

I am staying put. Part of me wonders if these tummy troubles are not partially due to stress about the dentist. I am worried I may have to get a root canal. Very worried. I just want to go and get it done. I figure my body can't revolt much more since there's nothing left to reject. All I've had is a little bit of water and pepto bismol.

Sue, root canals can be a very good thing. I loved mine!

Trying to set up paperwork etc to telecommute tomorrow.

Blogs Just Aren't Cool Any More, Teens Say

The strangest thing about this poll.

September data, meanwhile, shows that most teens don't tweet: only 8 percent of teens use Twitter, as opposed to 19 percent of adults. MySpace remains the most popular social networking site for teens, while Facebook serves the same role for adults.

MySpace? That's soooo 2007! C'mon teens you can't let the adults out-Internet you.

Please, I'm glad to know the kids are somewhere else.

I wish I could figure out where the college students are. They ignore email; some are not even on Facebook! I think they just text-message each other individually. It makes marketing boring stuff like the library to them really hard.

Now tagless for your comfort.

flea, I feel your pain about the dentist. We had to have both Owen and Olivia's molars crowned because of decay, in addition to the other fillings. Who'd have thought to budget $5K for kids' dental work? Not me.

You deserve a do over. Any way you can get a lunch delivered and find a few minutes to yourself?
