Fred: It's the pictures in my mind that are getting me. It's like being stuck in a really bad movie with those Clockwork Orange clampy things on my eyeballs. Wesley: Why imagine? Reality's disturbing enough.

hip deep in pie

My sisters take after our French side olive skin, dark hair, dark eyes...both were often mistaken for native growing up. I am the red-headed step-child, strawberry blond (now dirty blond) hair, blue eyes. No one ever giessed we were sisters. At my sister A's wedding, one of her new inlaws asked me how I knew the bride!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

My brother and I are very different looking but our mannerisms and speech patterns are so ridic similar that most people comment on how alike we are when they meet us.

I look exactly like my father, to the point that people who know him have stopped me when he wasn't even around to ask me if I'm his daughter.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I drove home smiling the whole way, remember that classes like tonight were why I had loved college soooo much. I'm so glad to back in school!

That's awesome.

Clearly spoken English but with a last name like that? Somehow must equal Militant Black Muslim.

That's hilarious.

I have that with my mother.

Trust my rage

Thanks to Frisco's cough, I slept from 8-10, 12-2, and 4-5:30. I have an interview at 11. Joe's going to come home at 9:30 so I can get there on time. Frisco just has a cough and a runny nose but he's just a giant crying mess this morning.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Kathy, I'm so glad you're getting to do the school thing again. I had a blast with all my classes, and if I could only swing it I'd can this job-hunting gig and enroll permanently.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I managed to get back to sleep, but now I feel like I've been hit by a truck. I don't know if I can make it in on time.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

People rarely have the slightest doubt that my siblings and I are related.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Slept like carp. CJ tried to get me to let him stay home from school. I'm working from home today and felt like a bad mom when I kicked him out the door.

My neck hurts like crazy. I think it is from karate on Monday, I fell wrong during a take down and bounced my head off the floor. If it isn't from that, I don't know what I did to myself.

Because books.

I look exactly like my dad -- well, I did. Lately, I look more and more like my mom. For years, though, it looked like my mom had nothing to do with me and my brother.

The kitten biting my foot through the covers woke me from a really upsetting dream in which S. had lost his job, Sara was a baby in stroller, and I think we were living in the car. I'm still all weirded out and off-center.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I look like my dad's grandmother, and my sister is a carbon copy of our mom. (To the point where if you look at photos of my mom from when she was my sister's age, the only way to tell them apart is by the vintage of the clothes.) And yet, people can always tell we're sisters right away.
