Oh man, my coworker has been in labor since Thursday, and still no baby!
How is that possible?! Failure to progress usually leads to C-section, no?
Or just us.
I'm back from dinner and drinks with my friend Kevin (the ex-chef, current lawyer, Hugh Jackman lookalike). It was great good fun. Plus he picked up the tab because he's making bank.
I had grilled sardines as an appetizer which I never would've ordered but he's a very adventurous eater, so he didn't even think twice about it.
You mean the non-single Kevin? Yeah, we don't care about him.

She's probably in mild early labor, the kind that's not really OMG NO GOING BACK! labor. That, I'm informed, can go on for days and days.

Yeah, he's all married and shit. If he wasn't I would totes set you up, as I think you'd get on.
I'm not saying Lautner and I would have anything to talk about, but I could think of things to do other than talk.
Did you
see
the weaponwork?
Sorta blinding, huh?
Shark Boy done grown up all right.
His skills remind me of a Michigan friend. Bon met him--he disassembled my couch when I was moving out.
::sigh::
Those were the days.
Have a look at Ryan Miller's Team U.S.A. goalie mask [link]
I followed that link eventually to a story about a US skier who just suffered his fourth hip dislocation. I've never dislocated anything but a hip dislocation sounds really awful.
Hey aurelia - reservation is for 8 pm on the 26th. When we get closer to the date we should figure out meet up plans or something, but otherwise nothing to do yet.
Trudy, I usually do veg at 400 - 425. About 1/2 hour for broccoli, a little longer for cauliflower, a little less for zucchini, and you'll want to toss them with olive oil and a little salt and stir a couple of times during the cooking. Easy peasy. (Careful on the salt w/the broccoli because it really sucks it up.)
