You know, it's funny. We went to war never looking to come back, but it's the real world I couldn't survive.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

How is that possible?! Failure to progress usually leads to C-section, no?

She's probably in mild early labor, the kind that's not really OMG NO GOING BACK! labor. That, I'm informed, can go on for days and days.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

You mean the non-single Kevin? Yeah, we don't care about him.

Yeah, he's all married and shit. If he wasn't I would totes set you up, as I think you'd get on.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm not saying Lautner and I would have anything to talk about, but I could think of things to do other than talk.

Did you see the weaponwork?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Sorta blinding, huh?

Shark Boy done grown up all right.

His skills remind me of a Michigan friend. Bon met him--he disassembled my couch when I was moving out. ::sigh:: Those were the days.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Have a look at Ryan Miller's Team U.S.A. goalie mask [link]

Trust my rage

I followed that link eventually to a story about a US skier who just suffered his fourth hip dislocation. I've never dislocated anything but a hip dislocation sounds really awful.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Hey aurelia - reservation is for 8 pm on the 26th. When we get closer to the date we should figure out meet up plans or something, but otherwise nothing to do yet.

Trudy, I usually do veg at 400 - 425. About 1/2 hour for broccoli, a little longer for cauliflower, a little less for zucchini, and you'll want to toss them with olive oil and a little salt and stir a couple of times during the cooking. Easy peasy. (Careful on the salt w/the broccoli because it really sucks it up.)

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Careful on the salt w/the broccoli because it really sucks it up.

As if we needed any more proof that broccoli sucks.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

evaluations

ours self ones were already due and so were the meetings with boss, but he didn't do them. He's kinda been incommunicado with a bunch of us about work. Like the guy who resigned? still no official word and the guy has stopped coming in. The guy who has been hired? no official word on that either, even to the staff that reported to that position and the guy started sitting in the office yesterday. such bad management going on.
