Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

My company is big on branding everything, but the anniversary gifts are pretty good. For my 5-year I got one of those cool green banker's lamps, and for my 10-year I got a small telescope. Neither of which are branded.

I got this globe [link] for my 10th with my paycheck-writer. It came with a little company logo charm, but not attached to anything. I'm sure it is under the couch or something.

hip deep in pie

I got an employee award that was made by a local crystal maker. I was tres disappointed that it was branded and had my name on it. I totally couldn't resell it. It's a heavy piece of glass and fits nicely in my hand, so it may make a good weapon.

I think that it's a bad idea to kill someone with something that has your name on it. Just a thought.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My job only gives plaques!

clearly they are worried about the use of swag as weaponry.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

They underestimate the power of the plaque.

I have some pretty hefty plaques.
