Spike: At least give me Wesley's office since he's gone. Angel: He's not gone. He's on a leave of absence. Spike: Yeah, right. Boo-hoo. Thought he killed his bloody father. Try staking your mother when she's coming on to you! Harmony: Well…that explains a lot.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Firefly and Victorian Fantastic Four action figures

Following the link - I love the Victorian and Gaslight superheroes! But I was expecting Steampunk Mal and Inara, and there were no Firefly figures - at least not a Firefly I'm familiar with. *pout*

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Judging by the URL, this is supposed to be a Firefly action figure: [link]

That's Jayne, I guess....

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Uh, that's cheating. The Fantastic Four action figures make sense.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I have no feminist cred when it comes to music - I like "Smack My Bitch Up," Britney Spears, and Eminem.

The FUG girls are not updating fast enough with Grammy posts.

When it comes to anti-feminist music, I'm all old-school. Rolling Stones, baby!

Buh? He could've done so much with those characters! Geez. Now I have to go make Steampunk Firefly. Dammit, I didn't want a hobby.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

My only Grammy Gripe is that we had Lifetime Achievement Awards for Leonard Cohen and Loretta Lynn and neither one sings? (I'll cut them some slack for Bobby Darin).

And Michael's was weak -- you've got a chunk of people singing a Michael Jackson song (at one tiny point with Michael) in front of a 3-D clip from the movie but don't show any MJ and don't warn anyone to get 3-D glasses? What? Huh?

I adore "Smack My Bitch Up." And, to be fair, the smacker in the video is female. It was one of my go to krav teaching songs. I used to get some weird looks from the lobby, but it worked for me.
