Shit's all sorts of different now.

I have no feminist cred when it comes to music - I like "Smack My Bitch Up," Britney Spears, and Eminem.

smonster is me and I am her.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I adore "Smack My Bitch Up." And, to be fair, the smacker in the video is female. It was one of my go to krav teaching songs. I used to get some weird looks from the lobby, but it worked for me.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Right. Isn't it not actually about smacking a bitch up? Like "Bodies" by Drowning Pool is actually about dancing, not shooting a bunch of people like it sounds like?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Ha. I have once again lost almost all access to the internet, except for this site.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Don't have anything against Swift, but am not hugely pro either. And while I can't defend Kanye's rudeness, could everyone please(Not here, but in entertainment "media") stop acting like he ripped her blouse open and tackled her to the floor or something?

Right? Almost seems like something ::gasp:: RACIAL in peoples' extreme reaction.

You know, Justin DID rip off Janet's shirt (not that she wasn't in on it of course) and Janet is the only one who got eternal shit as if somehow he wasn't involved in any way...

(Did I do it? Did I "Play the Race Card" or is that only when Black people point out glaring fucking double standards?)

Just going back to the Janet/Justin thing again. I was flying back from New York the day of the Super Bowl. We were flying JetBlue so my friend and I were watching the Super Bowl coverage which cut off, for take off, right after their performance started. When reception returned the sportscasters were teasing about updates on the big scandal and we had no idea what had happened. When we did find out, we were kinda diappointed.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm finally watching the last 30 Rock, and am enjoying that they are in Boston! Shout-out to actual local news anchors!
