Natter 65: Speed Limit Enforced by Aircraft
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, pandas, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
mac is asleep. the ds has been put away including the new to him game I found at the bottom of his backpack. So the losing out on getting a new pokemon game because he wouldn't stop trading when I told him to? the effects of that apparently last 3 school days! That thing is a fucking nightmare and he may never get it back. definitely no electronics on school nights for the foreseeable future.
And YAY Grace!
And YAY scrappy on TV!
Kat, that is super cool!!!!
Go Gracie go with your coming-home-ness!
That thing is a fucking nightmare and he may never get it back.
Unfortunately, that sounds like exactly the right call.
I'm with JZ. Won't be fun, I know.
Is Noah's current daycare going to be Gracie's when it is time for that?
YAY GRACE! WOOHOO!
JZ, I skipped acouple hundred posts to recommend Sonoma Syrup Co. No. 8 Pomegranate Natural Grenadine for all your HFCS-free grenadine needs. I'm afraid I can't remember where I got it, but surely it is available somewhere in SF.
Back to reading through this afternoon's conversations....
I just read 700 posts of the Zoe thing. Oh man. I was supremely pissed at being called Orwellian.
Oh, Noah, this is going to be an adjustment for you, little man.
No kidding! And he has a whole bunch of adjustments coming (leaving his daycare, going to preschool). He knows Grace is coming home for good and he talks about it, but he has No Idea.
Grace will go to preschool, a special ed classroom. Her IEP has to happen in the next month or so, and the district is going to hate me because I'm already practicing saying, "Let's take this to Due Process then." and "To meet the goals you have specified, you need to provide more services, otherwise, 30 minutes a week of OT will not work."
That thing is a fucking nightmare and he may never get it back.
Ugh. That battle sounds like such a nightmare. I'm so sorry.
Grace? Coming home this May!
How wonderful! Oh, I am so happy to read that.
