Angel: Just admit it: you think you're gonna ride in, save the day, and sweep Buffy off her--Spike: Like you're not thinking the same thing. Angel: I'm already seeing somebody. Spike: What, dog girl?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

At least our URL isn't in there. (As a link, anyway.)

information libertarian

I poked around TVTropes a while ago, I think when it was first boing boinged, and I thought then that "Fast Eddie" was the person we knew as Gus. FWIW.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

And Janitor was the Korean girlfriend, I thought.

ETA: given what flea says, they're all the same person, I'm guessing.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Huh.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

My library class is starting to ramp up. I'm taking a 1/2 day off of work next week so I can finally get my student ID to be able to check out books, and then I have to assess the library stacks for their weeding policy before next week's class and check out a book for our first project. After that, the teacher wants to talk to me about something I mentioned in last night's class about a project we're starting here at work and the issues we're having with our outsourcing court allocations to Malaysia and automating our online searches.

We'll also be doing a group project in April, and she had us get together with our groups for the first time last night for some in-class discussion. I have to keep reminding myself to work well with others and not dominate the discussion--everyone in the group is really smart, but one is pretty quiet, another is also a bit reticent, the third is really interested in discussing stuff but gets off track, so I was working with the more reticent member to keep her reined in and focused. We gave the quiet guy the task of presenting our results to the class to draw him out more.
