That's an odd list.
Yeah. Like if you read the first two Twilight books and regretted reading them, what would make you think reading the third one was a good idea?
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

I find the easiest way to pick or be sure of flights/airlines is go to the website of the airport.
I'm pretty sure VAT is just UK. Other countries have different rules. VAT applies to services, for instance, so it's not just a sales tax. I couldn't say if the same applies for all of the EU.
VAT is throughout Europe. I don't know about ordering online, but for purchases on-site you had to spend a certain amount in a specific store to get the refund when you passed through customs. The tax is pretty high though (I want to say close to 20% depending on the country), so worth asking about.
Oh, crap, I forgot -- reason #1 I have to go to the grocery store today is that I'm out of milk. And cheese. I'm afraid I'll have no snack at all.
I hated The Lovely Bones. It is an odd list, though. There are two Gor books on it. Not that I don't regret reading all of the Gor books I read (okay, so it took me almost as long to stop reading Gor as it did Xanth), but I wonder at the demographic that gets two of them in the top hundred. Also one a Christopher Tolkien-edited JRRT sequel.
Guess which series has the top three books?
The order changed between the first and the second time I looked. The Da Vinci Code has crept to 3. I haven't read any Meyer, but damn, do I regret Da Vinci. I wonder at the Color Purple people. I understand Beloved was difficult and confusing, but The Color Purple? Really? That was good reading!
Let me stop.
Someone must have signed the kids up for a magazine subscription. It's Focus on the Family's Clubhouse, Jr. I have no idea who gifted it but I'm sort of annoyed. I haven't read the content of the magazine yet, but the materials we got does say they include bible stories. If this was my MiL, I'm going to have to suck it up and deal. I may just have to chuck it into the recycling bin as soon as it comes in.

Maybe they aren't the same people. And never mind what I said about Gor and Xanth.

Do they tax services in all of the EU?

The Burbank airport is made of win and very close to home. So why do my parents insist on flying in and out of LAX? Yargh.
I've read very few of the books on that list, I'm kind of glad to say. And only one of those I have would rise past "didn't like" to "regret reading."
Loving lisah's wedding excitement! Yay!
Thanks, lady! When is your baby coming? Soon now, right? Big YAY on that!!
