Sophia, things sound good with your boss, despite the mis-reading of each other. That's great to hear.
I wear necklaces probably a couple or three days a week.
I wear a necklace every day; I vary between 3 or 4 and swap pendants back and forth on the short chain all the time.
I wear 3 rings every day -- an old silver (or white gold) filigree ring with a ruby that was my grandma's, a silver ring with a solitaire amythst (that can't be the right spelling) cut as a hexagon, and a silver band that's just Celtic knotwork all around.
I fell out of wearing earrings when one piercing got infected, and I haven't worn earrings in a long time. I used to wear them every day without fail.
I never wear any jewelry to sleep or in the shower, though.
YES JESSE THIRD EAR.
Hee.
I have many ear piercings (6 and 3, I think), but never wear earrings any more.
Except in Nepal and a rare few other occasions, I never buy my own earrings. My parents do (in Nepal, I only bought them because I knew my mom wasn't into the whole crazy bargaining/tea/chat thing that happened with shopping there, and damnit if I was going to leave there without local jewelry!) With the exceptions of the Nepal ones, if they weren't from my parents, I don't wear them much at all. They share my taste in earrings 99% of the time, so it's a nice situation.
It's my brother's 31st today. I should call him!
ita's making me giggle.
I always sleep in whatever earrings are in my second lobe piercing -- usually small hoops or studs. Those just stay in forever until I change them. Everything else comes off at home.
libkitty, I'm so sorry. What an awful situation. Peace~ma to your family.
Yes, Steph! Thanks. I tend to big pendants, so I use them to err on the side of the demure.
Never got into brooches. Holes in fabric make me nervous. Plus more mixing and matching. But if I could find a nice chunky silver one for my kikoys...
