Angel: You know, I killed my actual dad. It was one of the first things I did when I became a vampire. Wesley: I hardly see how that's the same situation. Angel: Yeah. I didn't really think that one through.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I used to wear an olivine ring that my grandmother gave me, but I somehow caught it in a cash drawer snd the stone flew out of the setting, never to be seen again. By me, anyway.

I have made my peace with the impracticality of adding rings to my fingers - it just feels weird unless I wear them constantly and my short , thick fingers don't really cry out for adornment - but I coudl probably benefot from remembering to wear earrings more often. I go through phases of watch wearing, but I always hit a point where I just can't stand it anymore and have to go back to being watchless.

Tom, until your cat is wearing your bra on her head, you have nothing to worry about....

HEY! I didn't post pictures, damnit.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Oh, and for those following along, I seem to be back in my boss's good graces. We are having weekly meetings on Tuesdays, and today I gave her my action plan, and detailed everything I did this week. Thing is, it really wasn't that much more than I usually do, I just wrote it down!

This is good and bad news, because this means that some of the crazy stuff was her and not me, and I don't want a crazy boss! It kind of sucks that I have something on file that is at least 50% her freaking out and me not being there.

I found out that she has now also scheduled weekly meetings with work nemesis, and suspect that she went after work nemesis for not doing her job, and work nemisis took the opportunity to blame the hell out of me. Boss is very invested in work nemesis and I getting along.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

This is my favorite local jewelry designer. [link] My parents got me a tourmaline cabochon ring of hers when I graduated instead of a class ring.

Jewelry I wear all the time: three small hoops in ears, nose stud, Celtic-inspired silver pendant, two narrow silver rings on right ring finger.

Those are some lovely rings, smonster!

Wow, those are beautiful rings-- if I was going to pay money for jewelry, I would be happy to pay for something unique and really artistic.

Because books.

Gun, ita. Good to know. It's not KILL ME NOW painful, just a little sore still, so.

I wear my wedding band, my grandmother's platinum wedding band, a watch, one ring on my right hand, and two pairs of earrings (and now a third stud!) every day. Sometimes there's a necklace or a bracelet in there, too.

When I'm *out* I should say. Once I'm home, all jewelry comes off. Even my wedding ring, weirdly.

Oh, and for those following along, I seem to be back in my boss's good graces.

Excellent news, Sophia!

I have trouble wearing jewlry that I cannot wear constantly-- in bed and in the shower too, so another reason why I avoid it.

On the boss front, I realize that one of the things I fake really well is being well-socialized, but really I am just an awkward weirdo who doesn't know how to talk to or read people at heart, and man does that part of me come out when I am tired. I thought boss was annoyed at me because she was busy and I was not taking enough initiative and so I took more initiative. Instead she was annoyed at me because she thought I was not telling her enough of what was going on and she felt like I was acting too independently and didn't think she was my boss. Holy misread Batman!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Libkitty, that's awful. I wish you all the strength in an impossible situation.

Yeah, I take my jewelry off when I come home too. Except the sleepers. For a while I was leaving thread earrings in my main 5 ear piercings, but they started knotting. But they were the only earrings comfortable enough to lie down in. And I lie down a lot at home.

I love jewelry shopping at etsy and uncommongoods.com. My two web go to places. There was also somewhere that sold silver jewelry with cheap gems for the price of shipping but I can't remember the URL. They were sometimes good for $6.
