No. And yes. It's always sudden.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I almost always wear earrings, my "s" necklace, my 30th birthday ring, my dad's signet ring, an eternity ring, and a bracelet. The only thing I tend to vary is the earrings. sometimes a different bracelet.

I think I took something like 6 pairs of earrings with me to Nepal and Bhutan. And bought 3. Even if I was truly in the boonies for an extended period, I'd wear a pair, though possibly a small set with a closed loop to avoid loss.

I only sleep in the little second hoops that never come out, though. The main stuff, I don't sleep in, at least not on purpose.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I didn't wear earrings (other than the cartilage piercings) the whole time I was unemployed. I started again when I started work, but my ears were kinda sore, so I fell off again. I should have stuck to it, so they toughen up again. I've had some of these piercings for about 30 years. My ears were first pierced when I was much younger, but I let those close up.

Tomorrow I shall try to remember to wear earrings and a necklace. And the day after that I may try my corset. Git mah girl on.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

ION, my apartment is a little messy. I just watched my cat stalk and pounce on a pair of underwear.

That ain't right.

Did your cat have to give chase? That's the scale you measure ain't right on.

Because books.

Speaking of piercings, I got my cartilage pierced Saturday night. I can turn it without pain, and I've been cleaning and turning twice a day, and it doesn't seem red or swollen, but it's still really sore and tender. As in, uncomfortable to sleep on that side.

It's the first time I've had cartilage pierced, and it's the top part of my ear. Is that usual? Or should I be worried?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Tom, until your cat is wearing your bra on her head, you have nothing to worry about....

Did you get it pierced with a gun or a needle? I had mine pierced with a gun, and because of the percussion it stayed sore for quite a while. Weeks. But I'm a slow healer. Now I know to go needle if I ever get the third one done like I've been kinda meaning to.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I used to wear an olivine ring that my grandmother gave me, but I somehow caught it in a cash drawer snd the stone flew out of the setting, never to be seen again. By me, anyway.

I have made my peace with the impracticality of adding rings to my fingers - it just feels weird unless I wear them constantly and my short , thick fingers don't really cry out for adornment - but I coudl probably benefot from remembering to wear earrings more often. I go through phases of watch wearing, but I always hit a point where I just can't stand it anymore and have to go back to being watchless.
