You got fired, and you still hang around here like a big loser. Why can't he?

(Oh, that's the other thing with the cat -- the trapped-ness.)

Mine's always guaranteed to jump on top of me for snuggles just as I'm getting ready to get up to go to the bathroom. And, she usually managed to land right on top of my bladder for full painful effect.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

OMG, is there anything more sleepy-making than a sleeping cat on your lap? I vote no.

Watching Private Practice. It's dropped me unconscious as if I were clubbed over the head every time I've tried to watch an episode.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The rain used to drip off our roof onto the poinsettia leaves that edged our house in Jamaica. Utterly soporific. But my parents have cut down all the poinsettia. I don't remember if we have anything edging the house anymore.

I just busted myself as listening in on the developers' conversation. And it wasn't even all in English. I just need to tell them something, and I've been waiting for an hour.

Did I tell them? No. I just commented on what they were talking about, and then scooted because I should have kept my mouth shut. Now they're on break. I need to write down what I was going to tell them, because at this rate it'll be forever before I get a chance.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Woke up a couple of times before the alarm went off. Sleepy now.

So $1800, three rounds of anesthetic (par for the course, I numb poorly) and a case of the shakes from the anesthetic (a first) I have 2 temp crowns and don't go back until next year.

Woy.

Gonna start the soup now. Maybe by the time it is done, I'll be able to feel my tongue and half my face. Glad I swam early, no way I'd be up for it now.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Uhg, and now the throbbing is starting.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I hope you feel better sarameg. I too, am a poor numb-er, and coming down from the novacaine sort of makes me sick and weird in addition to the tooth stuff.

I did not take internet breaks in an effort to be better at work, but otherwise did what I was planning on and was vaguely chipper, and my boss seems happy. We have our first weekly meeting tomorrow, in which I tell her everything I did for the past week (except, because of vacation, it has only been 2 days). It was really unfortunate that I had vacation just then, because I think I could have nipped the written warning in the bud if I was there.

Of course, next week I am scheduled for jury duty. In the murder capital of upstate NY. I feel that I will be picked because I am pretty sure that they are desperate for jurors.

I gave up with an hour to go and came home and am taking one of everything in an attempt to forestall and divert this migraine. The strange Imitrex side effects have begun. One doctor tried to tell me they didn't exist, which isn't nice of her.

Sara, do you have pain medication for the throbbing, or will you be waiting it out?

What annoying timing, Sophia.
