Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

We are expecting another 3-5 inches tonight and 3-5 inches tomorrow. On top of the few inches that are already on the ground from yesterday. Colder than a witches tit would be an understatement right now.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Beth, looks like you could use these: ooooo.

The woman interviewing me this morning asked if I had boots! I said they are in the mail...

brillig

The cold has stolen beth's letters.

We've still got the wind going, and it's scoured the snow off every high spot on the grounds. The very dry Utah snow is just being blown around and drifting up anywhere the wind gets interrupted. I don't even want to think about Wyoming, where there's lots of nothing to slow the wind down.

It'd be very pretty if I never had to go out in it.

We haven't had a lot of wind here as yet. Driving in to work, I felt like I was in a snow globe. Lightly drifting flakes were falling. The trees had that stereotypical winter snow draping the branches. Unfortunately, it meant the roads were also still covered in snow and ice. But that meant we had to go slow and pretend not to be enjoying the scenery.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

In honor of Tom Waits' sixtieth birthday I need to note that it is "colder than a well-digger's ass" today.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's freezing in the office today. I have a full length leather coat that I wore in, but that's a bit much to wear around the office. But since it doesn't look like the afternoon sun will be warming my cube, I may have to use it. My poor hands.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I thought that the second season picked up around episode 4 and has the funniest ep of the series.

I concur with ita on this (both the season, and the episode, if it's the one I think it is). The season started kind of off, but picked up as it went along.

Mega dentist appointment in 35 minutes. Uhg. But, I got up and swam and then went out and bought gift cards and bras. Another cup size bites the dust. I think xmas is going to be a gift card and charity donation holiday. Boys, I am just going to buy on amazon this week...
